Punjab Minister for Information Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said in a press conference that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) politician Rehman Malik went to Zardari’s house instead of the hospital after Benazir Bhutto’s assassination.
The minister said that Malik gave up the side of his wounded leader to go to Zardari. He also said that Bilawal, as chairperson of the PPP, should ask his father for an explanation. Bilawal’s position as chairperson makes his father answerable to him.
Chohan then moved onto criticise Bilawal on the Liaqat Bagh gathering. He said that the PPP is spending huge sums money on this and if they spent this money on Sindh, the situation there would be much better.
The PPP chairman used to address a gathering on Benazir’s death anniversary at Garhi Khuda Baksh. Today, on her 12th death anniversary, the PPP is holding an event at Liaqat Bagh, the place where she was assassinated.
The PPP chairman had said that in this gathering they’ll put forward the people’s agenda and start their work in overthrowing the installed government.
