'Property Tycoon Malik Riaz Will Not Be Able To Avert Accountability This Time'

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a reference against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and seven others, including the property tycoon Malik Riaz, in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case, and this time the property tycoon will not be able to avert his accountability.

While speaking at a program on Naya Daur TV, senior analyst Muzamal Suharwardy said that then-prime minister Imran Khan is equally responsible for the crime, as he let the fine money be paid back to Malik Riaz.

The analyst said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto have a conflict as both want to become prime minister.

He said that Zardari is making his way for the slot of prime minister by repeatedly saying in the media that Bilawal is not fully trained yet. “No one will take Bilawal seriously, as his father is declaring him untrained,” he added.

While responding to a question regarding the conflict between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leaders Ahsan Iqbal and Daniyal Aziz, Suharwardy said that both are senior politicians and they are trying to acquire the party ticket for their favorite person.

The analyst said that, on the other hand, not a single person is willing to take a ticket of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
