Former Interior Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik has announced he would write and produce a feature film on the miserable lives of Muslims living in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
The senator revealed his future project on IOK, while addressing media at the launching of his book Bleeding Kashmir.
The upcoming film be based on Rehman’s book Bleeding Kashmir, in which he documented the hardships faced by the Kashmiris living in IOK. The book also highlighted a story of pellet victim, Insha Mushtaq, who lost her eye-sight.
The senator said the film project is currently in its initial stage, the crew and lead actors will be finalized once the script is completed. Recently, Moammar Rana and Sonya Hussyn featured Azaadi highlighted the issue of Kashmir in 2018.
