All 5 Sher Sisters Now In Bureaucracy As Youngest One Gets Allocated
Zoha Malik Sher – whose four elder sisters have also passed CSS and are currently serving in different groups – has been allocated to Office Management Group (OMG). Zoha had cleared CSS written exam in 2019. The father of Sher sisters, Malik Rafiq Awan, told Naya Daur that being a father of five daughters he never accepted the usual social pressure of Pakistani society, but he always encouraged his daughters in their professional careers.

Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) announced the final result of CSS examination 2019 for the recruitments against BS-17 posts on Wednesday.

Zoha Sher, after passing the CSS written exam had said that her father proved that having daughters was not a weakness but strength. She said since they had no brother, people were very sympathic to her family when she was born. “But my father never felt bad, rather he converted his weakness (having five girls) into his strength by providing us the best training and education,” she said.

While talking about the gender inequality in Pakistan, she said that there should be no discrimination on the basis of gender, colour, caste and creed. “These things should not be considered the basis of strength and weakness. The girls could do wonders provided they are given the confidence by their parents,” she added.

Zoha’s father told Naya Daur that he was feeling very blessed as all his daughters have cleared the most competitive exam of the country. “My wife provided a very healthy educational environment to our daughters. They all struggled really hard and made us proud. There is no short cut or formulae to clear CSS. One only needs to be hardworking and determined to do so.”

Zoha’s sisters Laila passed the CSS exam in 2008, Shireen in 2010, Sassi and Marvi in 2017. All the five sisters attended primary school at the Presentation Convent High School in Rawalpindi.
