Speaking to BBC News Hindi, Lt. Gen. B.S. Raju of the Indian Army has made the startling claim that the Pakistani military is sending mujahideen with COVID-19 across the Line of Control into Indian-controlled territory. Pakistan's military spokesperson has responded by describing these allegations as “delusional”.
Lt. Gen. B.S. Raju who commands the 15th Corps, which is responsible for Indian security operations along the Line of Control, was answering a question about his perception of Pakistani deployments. He told the BBC:
In the same vein, the general stated that the Indian Army would be “conscious” of how it handles the dead bodies of any “terrorists” it kills.
When asked in the same interview as to how he substantiated these claims, the general cited “intelligence” and said that he preferred to “restrict” himself there.
Dismissing such claims, the account of Pakistan's Director-General of Inter Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar tweeted the following:

We do get intelligence inputs from across that Pakistan is pushing a lot of COVID cases into Jammu and Kashmir. We are also conscious that Pakistan is taking risk of putting these gullible people who are being trained as Mujahideen into very small enclosed places in their own launchpads.

No less delusional are the allegations about Pakistan infiltrating Covid-affected individuals into IOJK. Pakistan has always extended unhindered UNMOGIP access to CFV sites. We will continue to do that most transparently... (2/3)
