A four-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Khanewal. Her body was thrown in the fields.
Geo reported that the girl was kidnapped four days ago from the Azizabad village of Khanewal when she was playing with other children. The perpetrators first raped the girl then threw her body in the nearby fields, according to the police.
The heirs of the victim held a protest against the crime and blocked the Jahanian Road. They accused the police of having practiced negligence when the complaint of the child's disappearance was made. They said that the police did not act due to which they lost their daughter. If the police had acted on time, the child could have been saved, the heirs lamented.
