International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has fired an Associate Law Professor, Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq, who uncovered a male rape case at the varsity two months ago.
The professor's lawyer Umer Gillani, who is representing him in a case of illegal appointments in the university, said that he would challenge Mushtaq's removal in the high court.
Moreover, in a tweet, he said that the decision to fire him was the revenge of the university's 'dictators' against a 'dissenting professor'.
