PPP Leader Raja Pervez Asharf Says PM Should Expel French Ambassador Through Executive Order
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has called on the government to expel French ambassador from Pakistan through an executive order just like the PPP government banned Youtube over a blasphemous movie in 2012.

While talking to media, Raja Pervez Ashraf said that the PPP was not given a chance to present its position in the parliament. "When I was prime minister, I ordered the blockade of Youtube within 24 hours over blasphemous content," he said.

The PPP leader went on to say that the ban on Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) is illegal.

The PPP had boycotted the previous session of the National Assembly summoned to debate the matter of expulsion of French ambassador, but the party members were present in today's session.
