In an ultimatum to Saudi Arabia, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan will have to look for other options if the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation doesn’t come forward in support of its stance on Kashmir.

The foreign minister made these remarks on a TV show.

Qureshi said that OIC that is led by Saudi Arabia should decide if it wanted to stand with Pakistan on such a sensitive issue, as Pakistan can’t wait for Saudi support anymore. He said Pakistan skipped Malaysia summit though with a ‘heavy heart’ due to Saudi Arabia’s reservations, so now it was time for Saudis to step forward.

He also said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed good ties and ‘Pakistanis were do anything to for the protection of Madina and Mecca’.

About the Jeddah-based organisation, he said it was about time the OIC stopped playing ‘hide and seek’ and took concrete steps to help the Kashmiri people.

The foreign minister said his remarks would create in uproar in the foreign ministry but he was going public with these reservations because of the situation in occupied Kashmir.

I don’t know that saudia Arabia will support Pakistan on Kashmir issue . No doubt we hv strong ties which is purely based on religion, but nowadays the world is more materialistic and govt of different religions makes decisions to keep in view their others interests beside religion. ,,,,…we can just pray for the unity of Muslim umma…Fida Bettani

Saudis take decisions protecting their interest first as any other country. Their economic ties with India are much stroger than with Pakistan. Secondly Qureshi is in no position to warn the kingdom.

It’s foolish to issue “ultimatum” to a country. It’s like blackmail. How come Mr Qureshi thinks the so called “other “OIC” members will support him after Sauds reject his ultimatum. Most countries that Kashmir as a bilateral issue, hence attempts to internationalize it have failed time and again. It seems that all this rhetoric is for diverting attention of Pakistani masses from the huge problems faced by the people and the spreading Corona disease.

Unlike PAKISTAN, SAUDI ARABIA is a honorable Islamic Kingdom. They’ll never go around the world with a begging bowl nor be under any countries COMMAND. Pakistan, someday will no longer be a ISLAMIC NATION nor will it be on the world map, as CHINA will give it a new name CHONGPOK. It time to change… WAKE UP.

You dont want to believe but thats fine but here is a trivia

In reality for Saudis, Converted muslims are not at par with rest of the muslims, Especially so from Subcontinent whom they still call hindi (or hindu). They have publically stated once or twice in last 3 years that converted indians (or Pakistanis) are third rate muslims.

It’s about time Pakistan exposes the Saudis for what they are. Create a real block that supports muslims the cornerstone will be Turkey Malysia Indonesia Iran Iraq .
The Saudis with all their wealth cant support the Palestinians …they will be deposed with the populas deal with their leaders…
