Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed on Friday said that he accepted that inflation has risen under the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
I would not deny that prices of medicines have increased, Rasheed told a gathering, adding that major issues like unemployment still continue under the PTI tenure.
However, the minister said he had faith that PM Imran Khan will resolve these issues: “I have faith on Allah that Imran Khan will resolve all these issues.”
Rasheed’s comments come a day after Adviser to PM on Trade Abdul Razzaq Dawood acknowledged the rise in inflation under the current government.
"No doubt inflation has increased, but the situation will improve in next six months," Dawood said.
