Police on Monday found dead body of a 2-year-old girl who was drowned by her mother in Karachi Sea, reported Geo News.
Body of the 2-year-old Anum was found near Karachi’s Do Darya.
The mother claimed that her husband had kicked her out of the house without any reason, while her parents would not allow her at their place too.
To this end, she added, she had no other option but to ‘get rid’ of her daughter and commit suicide herself.
Police arrested the woman, identified as Shakila Rashid, after residents identified her. A murder case has also been registered against the woman.
She was also presented before a court today.
