In a case of censorship, a news channel muted a talk show guest, former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair when he mentioned the name of Malik Riaz in relation to the £190million settlement of United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency with the former.
In a talk show, while discussing the issue of the settlement, Muhammad Zubair pointed out how the government was hesitating when it came to naming Malik Riaz publicly.
He then went on to take Malik Riaz’s name twice, and both times it was censored by the TV channel.

Media has largely been ignoring the news of Malik Riaz’s settlement with the NCA, with majority of the English daily newspapers refraining from posting the news on their front page.
