Former PM Gilani Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Son Blames NAB
Former prime minister and senior Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gilani has tested positive for coronavirus. The politician's son announced that his test results came out positive and blamed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as well as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

On Friday, Gilani was summoned by the accountability watchdog in a case pertaining to misuse of authority. NAB had accused the former PM of relaxing rules during his tenure to allow the then president Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League - N (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif to buy vehicles gifted to them by foreign dignitaries.

He appeared before the NAB Islamabad and defended himself against the charges on Friday (yesterday).

Earlier, former Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif had contracted the coronavirus two days after he appeared before the NAB accompanied by a crowd of party workers and supporters.
