
A day after two cases of coronavirus were reported from Pakistan, President Dr Arif Avi after consulting ulema on Thursday said people suffering from flu should offer prayers at home, and avoid Jumma congregations for community’s wellbeing.
President Alvi took to Twitter, urging people with flu symptoms to avoid public places and Jumma congregations. "I have taken opinion from Ulema that for the sake of community wellbeing they can perform prayers at home & avoid Jumma congregation so as not to put other people at risk," he tweeted.

On Wednesday, two patients were diagnosed with novel coronavirus in Pakistan, and a day after this news, the price of N-95 masks, that are used to prevent coronavirus surged by 1,000 percent in the country.
