Earlier in the day, Indian jets intruded from Muzzafarabad sector into the Pakistani territory but after facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot.
Prime Minister Imran Khan called an emergency meeting which was attended by members of his cabinet and heads of the country’s armed forces. The forum rejected Indian claims that it hit ‘terrorist hideouts’ during the intrusion into Pakistan. It was also said that Pakistan will respond at the right time and place.

The act of aggression from India is also being condemned by members of opposition parties and the government alike, who call for the nation to unite against aggression and protect the homeland.
However, journalist Moeed Pirzada's 'sources' have different views. Taking to Twitter, he said: “Indian planes definitely hit an empty hill top, but they crossed over Muzaffrabad, and stayed inside Pakistani space for at least 12 min, Pakistani Air Defense was fully capable of responding but didn't; Tacit Approval?”
In another Tweet, Pirzada said: “If my sources and analysis is true then it looks like that Indian PM was given tacit approval to full fill his political needs; PAF didn’t need to scramble jets, Pak Air Defense was on Red Alert and was fully capable of effective response to Mirage planes.”
Twitter is, however, not buying any of Pirzada’s ‘sources’ or ‘analysis’.
