Minister Accused Of Forcibly Demolishing Houses Of Christians, Hindus In Bahawalpur
In an alleged case of land grabbing and persecution of non-Muslims, houses of Hindus and Christian workers living in the Yazman city of Bahawalpur district were forcibly demolished on May 20. Federal Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema has been named as the culprit, whose goons allegedly beat people up and destroyed their houses amid the coronavirus crisis.

The women who have been protesting in a video that has been doinng rounds on social media, say that they have been rendered homeless without a roof over their heads and no bread or water to live on. They said that they are starving and will die of homelessness before they die of coronavirus.

The men and women living in the squatter settlements that have been displaced, turned to the streets and have been protesting for their home, in which they had been living since 20 years and now suddenly have been told that they were illegal.
