Court Acquits Singer Rabi Pirzada In Case Regarding Illegal Possession Of Wild Animals
A model court on Thursday has acquitted singer Rabi Pirzada in a case pertaining to possession of wild reptiles. The counsel of the singer had filed an acquittal petition arguing that Rabi did not violate any law.

The singer’s lawyer Hassan Ranjha, in the presence of Rabi Pirzada, has claimed that the wildlife department had implicated his client just due to personal vendetta and obtained search warrants from the court.

After hearing the arguments, Magistrate Haris Siddiqui acquitted Rabi Pirzada. While talking to the media after her acquittal, the singer said she was ready to work for the protection of wildlife, in collaboration with the department.

The wildlife department had filed a complaint last year, pleading that Rabi Pirzada had committed violation of law by keeping a crocodile and a python at her house.
