Having known how tough and expensive the entire ordeal of court cases is, Odho also expressed her concern for the ones who can't afford to engage in long, tiring court cases. She is of the view that the state should provide legal aid for these people.
Atiqa Odho was acquitted last week in a nine-year-old case in which she was accused of carrying two liquor bottles in her luggage at an airport. In its verdict, the court said that there was no evidence against Odho.
