Rahat Bakers Islamabad Found Using Germ-Infested Butter In Food Items
Rahat Bakers Islamabad branch has once again been accused of using germ-infested butter in different food items, rendering them unfit for human health, Naya Daur has learnt.

According to the assessments of the National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad, butter samples collected from Rahat Bakers Islamabad were inspected on various modern equipment in laboratory for many hours and the butter collected from Rahat Bakers were found to be not only unhygienic but also unfit for human health.

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Food Department accused various reputed food outlets in the capital including China Town, Mughli courtyard, Butt Karahi, Usamnia, Kin Mun, Kabul restaurants, Haleemghar and Mr Chipps of unhygienic environment and unsatisfactory food standards in violation of the law.

When contacted, an official of the Food Department in Islamabad confirmed that Rahat Bakers was found guilty of using unhealthy butter in their food items, adding that strict action would be taken against them after legal formalities.

He further said that ICT Food Department has started crackdown against the food outlets in Islamabad and various places have already been sealed for violation of food laws. No one will be allowed to get away with playing with the lives of people, he added.

Rahat Bakers has 6 branches in federal capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and many of these branches have already been sealed by the food department for supplying unhealthy food items to their customers.

Rahat Bakers did not respond to Naya Daur Media’s request for comment.
