‘Nothing Can Deter Us Of Our Principles’: Bilawal Unfazed By ‘Death Threats'
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government ministers have started propaganda campaign against him over his remarks against the banned outfits.

Bilawal took to Twitter on Tuesday and said that he is being called ‘anti-State’ and has received death threats from ministers for asking the government to sack three ministers who are ‘associated with banned outfits’.

He adds that despite smear campaign and death threats, the party will continue to live by its principles. “None of this deters us from our principle stand; form joint NSC parliamentary committee and act against banned outfits.”

The PPP chief added that as long as the PTI government does not act against banned outfits, no one will take the govt seriously. “Those who have supported banned outfits and such groups must be removed,” he reiterated.

Last week, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed tweeted that ‘Bilawal should play carefully in politics otherwise he may be eliminated’.

His tweet was condemned by social media users who asked for his removal.

PPP is likely to take action against Rasheed. Central Information Secretary Nafisa Shah told Dawn that the party wouldn’t ignore Rasheed’s remarks as he has facilitated a terrorist organization in the past.

In a video for Naya Daur, journalist Murtaza Solangi said Bilawal has always spoken against banned outfits, even before the elections.

Solangi said Bilawal lost his mother to terrorism and the issue is very personal to him. Solangi also said that Pakistan needs to do sincere policy making to counter banned outfits as the case over it is pretty weak in eyes of world powers.
