After returning from an official visit to China, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has announced that he would have a five-day self-isolation ‘to set an example for the public’.
The foreign minister was on a two-day visit to China accompanying President Dr. Arif Alvi. While speaking to media, Shah Mehmood said: “before going, we were tested and cleared for coronavirus by National Institute of Health. He said that the entire delegation was tested again before leaving China.
Despite taking precautionary measure, the foreign minister said that he needed to self-isolate himself for at least five days. “I will resume my interactions after receiving my tests reports. I think the politicians should set an example for the public to follow,” he added.
