Missing Minor Girl Found In Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: An 18-month-old girl, who had gone missing from Farash Town yesterday, recovered Sunday from a drain, police and family confirmed to NayaDaur Media.

A Shahzad Town police official said they conducted search operation during night in the area but remained unsuccessful; however, around 10am she was found from a drain in the area. The minor girl was shifted to the Polyclinic Hospital where doctors declared her healthy after medical assessment.

When asked how she was abducted and whether the police will investigate the matter, he responded as the girl found healthy, no further probe would be carried out.

 



Zahidullah Khattak – the minor father – told NayaDaur Media that the police cooperated with them and did their best to recover his daughter. He also confirmed the medical examination of his daughter.

According to the first information report (FIR) registered with the Shahzad Town Police Station yesterday [Saturday] – a copy of which available with NayaDaur Media, Khattak said he is a daily wager and left his house early morning for work when his family informed on phone that Minah went missing from street around 7:15 am.

The girl had left the home to go to a shop with his brother who returned to home but she didn’t, the FIR added.
