Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader Feroz Shah Advocate was gunned down by unidentified men after Maghrib in Swat on Wednesday.
The leader was returning home when the attackers opened fire on him injuring him and his guard. Both of them were rushed to the Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital where Shah succumbed to his injuries.
The police have filed a report in order to carry out an investigation.
Shah was an active participant in local politics and was also PML-N's National Assembly candidate in the previous general elections.
