After Superstar Amitabh Bachan's Twitter account got hacked last night, another cyberspace violation involves singer Adnan Sami's twitter account, which was hacked today. The hacker changed the profile picture to that of Prime Minister Imran Khan's, just like they did to Amitabh's account.
The hacker in one of his tweets said that:
"Whoever shows the courage to betrayal our brother country Pakistan know that you will see Pakistan's prime minister's photo and Pakistan flag as profile picture"
It seems as Turkish hackers are employing pro-Pakistan twitter tactics to express their contentions with India. It is not the first time that celebrities have been a target for online hackers. In the recent past, Indian cyberspace has been at the receiving end of online Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram hacks.
From Shahid Kapoor to Hrithik Roshan and finally Amitabh Bachan, most of the celebrities have been exposed to hacking. Social media giants like Twitter along with relevant regulators have failed to prevent such cyber attacks in the past. Despite massive anti-hacking measures, such practices are still prevalent.
