Pakistan Army’s Christian Major Saiqa Gulzar made the country proud by winning gold medal in US. She was ranked among the 52 top officers from around the world during a training session in the United States of America.
She hails from Vehari, a region 100 kilometers from Multan, and belongs to the Christian community. She is the daughter of a local teacher Gulzar Masih Sidhu.

Earlier this week, Pakistani Water Analyst Laila Kasuri has made the country proud by making it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Science and Healthcare category.
The 29-year-old is currently working with Global Green Investment Policy Solutions Division and has led research at organizations such as the World Bank, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the UC Davis Centre Watershed Sciences on climate-smart irrigation, flood.
“As climate change takes its toll on the developing word, water specialists like Laila Kasuri are becoming increasingly important in taking a preventative approach to sustainability,” Kasuri’s Forbes profile said.
