MNA Ghazala Anjum Praises Security Forces, Calls For Global Action Against Terror Support

Member of the National Assembly from Chitral, Ghazala Anjum, has paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for conducting what she described as successful operations against terrorists of the “Baharti Liberation Army” at various locations in Balochistan.

In her statement, she urged the United Nations to adopt resolutions aimed at stopping India from allegedly sponsoring terrorism inside Pakistan. She also called on the international community to strongly condemn both India and Afghanistan for what she termed as support and financing of terrorist groups around the world.

Ghazala Anjum said that the Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces in the ongoing war against terrorism. She further claimed that all terrorist organisations operating in Balochistan have been declared terrorist groups by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, as well as China and Russia.

The lawmaker emphasised that, within Pakistan, individuals who create what she called “ideological confusion” by referring to such militants as “angry Baloch” should be arrested, alleging that such narratives mislead the public and create space for terrorists.

She added that Indian-sponsored proxy militants could only be dealt with through force, asserting that dialogue with them has no benefit and “not even a one per cent chance of success,” as, in her view, they have rejected the Constitution and declared intentions to break the country.

She concluded by urging the Pakistani people to eliminate all ideological confusion on the issue of terrorism.
