KP police has announced that 68 female commandos would be deployed in the tribal regions by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police.
Inspector General of KP Dr. Naeem Khan has said that there was a shortage of female commandos in the region which created a hurdle around raiding women’s spaces in the area.
He also said that two batches have already been deployed in the area and a batch of 69 more will be joining after completing their four-month training.
Previously there were only seven women in the entire force in the area while there were only 648 women in the police all across KP.
