Punjab Delays Winter Holidays, Schools Now Closed from December 23

The Punjab Education Department has announced a change in the winter holidays for schools in the province. The break will now start on December 23, instead of the previously planned December 20.

Schools will reopen on January 13, 2025. This update comes after the department initially scheduled the holidays from December 20 to January 10.

In Sindh, schools will be closed for winter break from December 21 to December 31. Both private and public schools will observe these holidays during this period.

In Balochistan, the winter holidays began earlier on December 16 due to the cold weather. The Balochistan Education Department stated that schools, colleges, and universities in 20 districts, including Quetta, will be closed starting from December 16.

Schools in areas with colder weather will remain closed until February 28, while parts of the province with milder temperatures will have a 10-day break from January 1 to January 10.
