Pakistan on Thursday rejected India's dossier on the Pulwama Attack saying that there was not enough evidence to prove alleged involvement of Pakistan-based elements in the attack.

According to a story published in Dawn, sources said that “all information provided by India was checked and no link with the Pulwama attack could be established.” They said that Pakistan is willing to offer India another chance to provide any fresh evidence if available.

A Foreign Office statement said that the findings were shared with the Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad, Ajay Bisaria.

“The Indian high commissioner in Islamabad was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the foreign secretary (Tehmina Janjua) and the findings on the Pulwama incident were shared with him,” FO said.

On February 27, India had sent a dossier to Pakistan containing information of alleged involvement of Jaish-e-Muhammad in Pulwama Attack. Dawn’s sources told the newspaper that the dossier contained telephone numbers and WhatsApp IDs.

On February 14, 44 Indian paramilitary officers were killed when a van packed with explosives rammed into a convoy in Pulwama area of occupied-Kashmir. India had accused ‘elements within Pakistan’ of carrying out the attack.

Later in the month, India carried out ‘airstrikes’ in Balakot claiming to have killed ‘350 terrorists’. However, no casualties were reported. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) also shot down a IAF jet the next day and captured Indian pilot Abhinandan, who was later released as peace gesture.
