We all have seen some crazy and weird moments on a football pitch. For example, Zinedine Zidane head-butting people, others kicking rivals in the face, fans running in and attacking footballers, but what happened during the English League Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City has never been seen before.
The football world was shocked when Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to get subbed. With scores 0-0 at the end of the extra time, both the English teams readied themselves for a penalty shootout. Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wanted to sub Kepa off for Willy Caballero, but Kepa won't have any of it.

He refused the manager's orders and even screamed 'NO' repeatedly at him. Eventually, one had to give in and that was the London side's coach. Manchester City went on to win the 4-3 on penalties.

Kepa's attitude has had people infuriated. Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton called the goalkeeper 'a disgrace' and said that he should not play for the club ever again.
Former England and Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas said that the incident shows Sarri has lost the plot and that his players don't respect him quite a lot. He also criticized Sarri, who walked down the tunnel after the shootout, saying that he should have been there with his players supporting them.

Chelsea's season has been ordinary considering the standards the team has set. They are sixth in the Barclays Premier League table and with no champions league football for them this year, it seems like the blue side of London will have a trophyless 2018-19.
This only hints at one thing; Sarri does not have much time left at Chelsea.
