Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa to discuss the upcoming ‘Azadi March’.
This was revealed on Wednesday by a private television channel. Reportedly, the army chief ruled out the possibility of the 'minus-one' formula for Prime Minister Imran Khan and dispelled the notion that Khan and his government would be removed.
Reportedly, the JUI-F chief was informed that if he insisted on the march was effective, other people could be removed.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman was further told that if his march resulted in a threat to the country’s stability, authorities would not hesitate from taking action.
