Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) worker Nasir Butt, who was thrown into the spotlight after his video with judge Arshad Malik, has alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered that his family be tortured.
In July, Maryam Nawaz had during a press conference played a video of judge Arshad Malik, in which the judge was telling PML-N worker Nasir Butt that he had sentenced Nawaz Sharif to jail under pressure.
In a recent tweet, Nasir Butt has said that the Federal Investigation Agency was dragging his family through courts as if they were terrorists. In a shocking allegation, he stated that FIA sources told him that Prime Minister Imran Khan had personally ordered torture of his family because he exposed judge Arshad Malik the fraud verdict against Nawaz Sharif.

Judge Arshad Malik had claimed after the video was leaked that it was doctored and presented without context.
Nasir Butt, on the other hand, had fled to London before the videos were released.
In early August, the Supreme Court in its verdict had stated that the recording of Judge Arshad Malik was of no benefit to Nawaz Sharif unless verified by the Islamabad High Court.
