PM Shehbaz Sharif Wants Recognition On Basis Of His Work: Suharwardy

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wants recognition on the basis of his work, and in his recent address to the nation, he presented a road map for the development of the country, said senior analyst Muzamal Suharwardy.

While speaking at a program on Naya Daur TV, Suharwardy said that during his tenure, former prime minister Imran Khan’s speeches were full of verbal abuses and allegations, but PM Shehbaz has shown how the specch of the premier should be.

The analyst said that PM Shhebaz assured the nation that this would be the last program of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He has not made big promises in his speech because he believes in work rather than speeches.

While responding to the question, Suharwardy said that Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chairman Mahmood Khan Achakza said that he will hold meetings with Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, and in response to his statement, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central information secretary Rauf Hassan said that the party founder Imran Khan had directed the leadership to not hold any meetings with Zardari and Nawaz.

He said that the PTI had decided that a delegation led by Achakzai would negotiate with the government, but the PTI's Rauf Hassan publicly insulted him during a press conference and gave him the message that he is just a dummy chrachter and he cannot take decisions on his own.

To another question, Suharwardy said that the Sindh High Court (SHC) has never provided facilitation to the PTI the way Lahore High Court (LHC) and Peshawar High Court (PHC) have.

He said that the conflict between the establishment and judiciary is over the May 9 accused. He said that the judiciary is providing relief to those involved in the May 9 riots. He added that the Sargodha anti-terrorism court judge granted bail to the accused involved in the desecration of the martyrs' memorial, which is clearly a form of facilitation.
