National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced that it will serve high-tea to the accused currently in the department’s judicial lockups on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a press release issued by NAB, bouquets will be sent to the accused persons imprisoned in the department’s judicial lockups and on judicial remands in the jails.
“It is the first time that the bureau will send bouquets to the accused detained in Camp and Kot Lakhpat jails,” the press release said. Previously, NAB had made a tradition of serving refreshments to the accused in its custody on Eid occasions.
NAB’s press release further stated that the said actions are purely based on humanitarian grounds. “However, there will be no compromise on the standards of investigation,” the press release concluded.
