The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a special song titled “Aik Dooje Ke Dil-o-Jaan” to mark Saudi Arabia’s National Day, celebrating the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Released on September 23, the song has been presented in both Urdu and Arabic, conveying themes of friendship, mutual respect, peace and shared values between the two countries. Its melodious composition highlights the cultural and emotional dimensions of the longstanding ties between the Pakistani and Saudi peoples.
The song pays tribute to what ISPR describes as the enduring brotherly relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Its bilingual presentation brings together Urdu and Arabic, reflecting the close links between the two countries while making the message accessible to audiences in both nations.
The production also references the countries’ close defence relationship, including the Pakistan-Saudi mutual defence agreement. It presents the bilateral relationship through themes of peace, solidarity and shared values, alongside the historical friendship between the two countries.
The release comes as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia continue diplomatic and strategic engagement. On September 22, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, according to reports.
The song’s release also coincides with Saudi Arabia’s National Day, providing a cultural tribute to the relationship between the two countries. Through music and bilingual lyrics, “Aik Dooje Ke Dil-o-Jaan” seeks to underscore the themes of friendship, mutual respect and shared values that have featured prominently in public expressions of Pakistan-Saudi relations.
