After the opposition's no-confidence vote failed against Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani in 2018, late National Party President Hasil Bizenjo made a fiery speech in the upper house, wherein he termed the defeat of the opposition despite having a majority in the House as an affront to parliament.
The video of that speech has been making rounds on social media in the wake of Bizenjo's death, which breathed his last on Thursday following a battle with cancer.
“The parliament has been completely defeated. Those supreme forces have won and have shown that they can make parliament a market,” he said, adding: “Today I am ashamed to sit here.”
In the video, Sanjrani interrupts the lawmaker, asking him to reserve the day for congratulating the members. At this, Bizenjo snaps. He asks: “Congratulations for what? Today was the day when parliament’s face was blackened."
The NP chief is also seen taking digs at the use of the term 'victory of Balochistan'. He says that the political parties have turned Balochistan into a 'market'. “After the building has been collapsed, it is being said we have done it for Balochistan. Is this what you’ve done for Balochistan? You did the same with the KP,” he added.

Like many before him, Hasil Bizenjo passed away without seeing a democratic Pak.
Sharing a short clip of a speech he did right after chairman senate's election in 2018.
I'll remember him for this speech - his disappointment couldn't have been more obvious.
