Punjab Police Constable Injured In Clashes With TLP Rioters Succumbs To Wounds

A constable of Punjab police Dilbar Hussain who was injured in clashes with Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) protestors last month has succumbed to his injuries. He was brought to Allied Hospital, Lahore after being beaten by the rioters and remained under treatment at the hospital till the time of his death earlier today.
The deceased is survived by a widow and three children.

The TLP had held violent protests across the country last month against the arrest of its chief Saad Rizvi. Six policemen were killed in clashes with the rioters. After Dilbar Hussain’s demise, this death toll has risen to seven. Over 600 policemen were injured while tackling the violent protests.
