TLP Blocks Roads In Multiple Cities To Protest Saad Rizvi's Arrest
Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has blocked major roads in Lahore and Karachi after its chief Saad Hussain Rizvi was arrested by security forces in Lahore earlier today.

Major roads in Lahore were blocked for traffic due to the TLP's protest near Multan Road. Islamabad and Karachi also face blockades due to the protest.

Dawn quoted a police official as saying that the step has been taken as a 'pre-emptive measure'. TLP vice chief Syed Zaheer, in a video message, said that the government broke the agreement signed with the group regarding Namoos-e-Risalat. He asked workers and leaders of the TLP to come out on roads to protest Saad Rizvi's detention.
