Ruckus In National Assembly As Members Shove One Another
National Assembly's session once again turned abusive and loud after members from the both ruling party and the opposition not only chanted slogans but also began to shove one another.

What kickstarted the debacle was Federal Minister for Power Omar Ayub speech that angered many of the opposition members. The former had alleged that he had won the elections with over a 40,000 margin against a PMLN candidate. The federal minister further challenged the opposition that he’d win again against them in an election.

This infuriated the opposition and they started chanting slogans “Go Imran Go” and “Ata mehenga, roti mehengi”. The opposition members also tore the agenda for the session and soon things took a violent turn.

Parliamentarians shoved at each other and PPP’s Syed Naveed Qamar took away the mic from the speaker. The speaker postponed the session in the end.
