PM, COAS, ISI Chief Discuss Security Challenges
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lt Gen Faiz Hamid discussed matters pertaining to internal and external security on Monday.

The Chief of Army Staff called on Prime Minister Khan in Islamabad. The DG ISI was also present in the meeting, according to a statement issued from the Prime Minister's Office.

The latest meeting becomes the fourth one in almost 40 days. The Army Chief and spymaster last called on the Premier on January 25 for a meeting wherein the three talked matters pertaining to national security. That meeting had come two weeks after Gen Bajwa had vowed to bring Machh massacre culprits to justice during a meeting alongside Prime Minister Imran Khan and the intelligence's top official.

The continuous human rights violations in Indian Kashmir and the frequent ceasefire violations over the Line of Control (LoC) had also come under discussion. TLTP
