PM Imran Finally Reaches Quetta After Burial Of Hazara Coal Miners
Amid severe criticism over his insensitive remarks, Prime Minister Imran Khan has finally reached Quetta hours after coal miners from the Hazara community were buried.

The protesters mourning their dead had previously vowed to not bury the bodies until PM Imran Khan visited them. However, on Friday PM Imran Khan said that they couldn’t “blackmail” him into coming to Quetta. Later at night, an agreement was reached between the protestors and the provincial government and earlier today on Saturday the bodies were buried.

The premier has now reached Quetta and will shortly be meeting with the families of the deceased.

Radio Pakistan reported that Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal, provincial ministers and other high ranking officials received the premier upon his arrival. Accompanying him on his visit were Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur.

PM Imran will also be holding a meeting to discuss the Machh incident.
