There is a possibility of armed protests breaking out across the US on the day of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, warned the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The warning comes after Trump supporters and far-right groups stormed the US Capitol.
According to US media, FBI believes that the Trump supporters will gather around in groups at all 50 state capitols and in Washington DC in the run-up to Joe Biden’s inauguration.
It is being reported that the security will be tightened to ensure that the riot that took place at the US capitol doesn’t takes place again.
President Trump is believed to have incited the stormers may see another vote of impeachment against him on Wednesday. Recently after his supporters stormed the Capitol, Trump was banned from various social media platforms including Twitter.
