Former Pakistan Muslim League - N (PML-N) leader General (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch who recently quit the party over differences with its narrative against the military establishment has revealed that former COAS Raheel Sharif had repeatedly asked the then PM Nawaz Sharif to extend his tenure.
While talking to anchor Mohammad Malik on his show, Baloch claimed that Nawaz Sharif told him that Raheel Sharif sought an extension not once but three times. “It was a great disappointment for me as I had expected Raheel Sharif to retire gracefully like a true soldier,” he added.
