A doctor at Karachi’s National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease (NICVD) was shot in the foot by a policeman associated with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday night. The CTD official was arrested by the police.
Samaa News reported that that the suspect Kamran had been suffering from psychological issues. Kamran was in the NICVD for treatment of his illness which he contracted a few days ago. Earlier, he had gotten into a fight with the staff of the hospital when he saw that they were not wearing masks.
