LAHORE: Chughtai Lab has set up a drive-through Coronavirus testing facility at its Lahore DHA branch. The step has been taken to limit the contact between the potential carriers and the staff working at the lab.
According to a press statement issued by the lab on Tuesday, people will be able to get the tests staying inside their cars and the results of the tests will be available online.
“To avail the drive-thru testing facility, people will have to come to Chughtai Medical Center Lalik Chowk and register for the test while in their car. Our trained staff will be available at the facility with complete PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to take the sample from your car”, the statement read.
Chughtai Lab was the first private laboratory in Punjab to offer Coronavirus tests. The cost of the test is Rs 7,900.
Pakistan currently has 14,787 verified cases of Coronavirus and 327 deaths have been recorded in the country.
