Escaped Coronavirus Patient Caught By Police Near River Jhelum
Police has caught a patient of the deadly coronavirus, who reportedly escaped from a quarantine centre set up in Lahore to facilitate the suspected patients of the virus.

DAWN reported that the joint team of police and health department caught the escaped patient at the river Jhelum bridge near Khushab. The team acted after receiving an alert from higher authorities in Lahore.

The authorities after arresting the patient, shifted him to an isolation ward set up at the Civil Hospital, Jauharabad (Khushab district) in an ambulance. The patient was traveling by a public transport bus and was traced through online booking.

The national toll of confirmed coronavirus cases has risen to 903, meanwhile the Punjab government has confirmed 265 cases to date in the province.
