A young policeman embraced martyrdom while fighting robbers in Kasur. During the crossfire between police party and the robbers, Faisal lost his life while two accused were also killed.
The incident took place when police intercepted the accused's motorbike, but they refused to stop and opened fire at the police as a result of which Faisal received injuries and later succumbed to the wounds. In retaliatory firing by police, two robbers were killed.

Police officer Farhan Khan took to Twitter to share that the slain policeman's father also lost his life in the line of duty. He had passed away in an accident while on duty.
