Pakistani cricketer grabbed the spotlight in Big Bash League currently underway in Australia when he picked up a hat-trick against the Sydney Thunder.

During a match between Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder, the right-arm fast bowler took three successive wickets in the final over of the latter’s innings.

Rauf first took the wicket of Matther Gilkes, and then dismissed Sydney Thunder’s captain Callum Ferguson. With a swift in-swinger, Rauf took the wicket of Daniel Sams.

Rauf has taken 13 wickets in just four matches for the Melbourne Stars and has not given more than 6 runs per over in three of these matches.

Haris Rauf made his T20 debut for the Lahore Qalandars last year and quickly shot to fame with fast deliveries of more than 140 km/h.

People took to Twitter to express their appreciation for the pacer. One fan asked the world to watch out for the bowler.

One user stated that the Pakistan Cricket Team should cash in on this situation and that Haris was a serious contender for the national side.
