Local administration in Karachi has reportedly sealed Zainab Market and Gul Plaza over presence of big crowds and violation of the coronavirus restrictions. The shopkeepers were found violating the standard operating procedures (SOPs) during a survey by the Saddar police. Following the ease of lockdown, the federal government had announced some SOPs to be followed for the reopening of markets.
Angry herds of traders have now taken to the streets to protest against the authorities for sealing the markets.
