US Embassy In Islamabad Introduces Home Delivery Service For Visa
The US Embassy, this Wednesday, announced on Twitter that they’re going to be introducing home delivery service for visa.
The service entails the delivery of an individual’s passport and visa to their home for a nominal price of 700 rupees.
Good news! We are now offering OPTIONAL home delivery service for your U.S. #visa! For a cash-on-deliver fee of PKR 700, we will send your passport & visa to any Pakistani address. This service can be availed by selecting this option while filling in the visa application.
Earlier this year, the US had revised visa policies for Pakistani citizens. According to them, there was fee hike for visa applications and the duration of journalist, work and missionary visas was reduced as well. The duration for tourist, trade and student visas remained unchanged.
The introduction of this system further simplifies the visa process for Pakistanis. Currently the two countries are working with each other over Afghanistan and Iran.
